The Kimberley Writers Festival celebrates the written and creative word in the remote community of Kununurra in the East Kimberley, Western Australia. The festival is in its fourth year and the Kununurra Community Library is the very proud location and organiser of the festival. In 2008 the Kimberley Writers Festival welcomes the local community and visitors to the region to join with 6 visiting authors and illustrators.
